MebelRU

Furniture discovery, from interior inspiration to order request

E-commerceUX/UI Design

About the Project

Mebel.ru brings furniture from different retailers into one browsing experience. Visitors can explore interior collections, search the catalogue, customise product options, and submit an order request to the selected sellers.

The visual direction combines generous white space, deep navy accents, rounded controls, and large product imagery. Interior photography helps visitors imagine a complete room, while structured product cards keep practical information easy to find.

Task

Create a clear path from exploring furniture to making an informed selection and submitting an order request.

The design needed to support both browsing by style and searching by specific requirements, such as price, dimensions, and materials. It also needed to explain how ordering from several retailers works, including separate deliveries and final confirmation from each seller.

Choosing the Right Furniture

Room categories and curated collections offer a starting point for visitors looking for inspiration. Catalogue filters help narrow the selection by price, manufacturer, dimensions, material, and style.

Product pages bring images, upholstery colours, frame materials, dimensions, and care information together. The seller, price, and delivery details sit alongside the main actions, while favourites let visitors save options and return to them later.

Ordering from Multiple Sellers

The cart groups furniture by seller and explains when an order involves separate deliveries. A step-by-step flow then takes visitors through contact details, delivery preferences, and a final review before submission.

Estimated costs are labelled as preliminary, and additional services such as assembly and carrying furniture upstairs are presented separately. The confirmation page explains what happens next: each seller contacts the customer to confirm availability, delivery dates, and final terms.

Mobile Experience

The mobile layouts carry the same journey into a narrower format. Compact navigation, a two-column product grid, and vertically arranged product details adapt the catalogue to smaller screens.

During checkout, contact fields, delivery options, the order summary, and additional services follow a single-column sequence. The step indicator keeps the current stage visible, while full-width primary buttons make the next action easy to identify.
