The interface needed to help readers discover stories, find coverage of specific games, and navigate detailed guides. A consistent layout connects these different types of content and keeps the publication easy to explore.
Visual Language
A near-black background, charcoal panels, and bright red accents give the website its visual identity. Angular display typography brings a recognisable gaming character to section headings, while simpler type keeps headlines and body copy readable.
Rounded image cards, consistent spacing, and recurring navigation patterns connect the homepage, game archives, and article pages.
Discovering Content
The homepage introduces featured stories and a news feed with image cards and short previews. Categories, timestamps, and consistent layouts help readers scan the content and choose what to open.
